I paint in oils and mainly focus on skies. Because...who doesn't love a beautiful sky. If you were to scroll through my photos, you'd see lots and lots of clouds, sunsets and deep blue horizons. I can never have enough reference material! But I can't say that I don't paint the occasional silly still life because life needs humor thrown in here and there. My poems and illustrations have been published in various anthologies and I illustrated a historical fiction picture book Daniel Brown at the Battle of Lexington by Ellen W. Leroe along with writing my own middle grade novel Elephant and Bird. 

I graduated from Plymouth State University in Plymouth, NH and studied art. My creative life has included watercolor painting, children's book illustration, middle grade novel writing and back to painting. My mother was an oil painter and I have fallen in her footsteps. As they say, sometimes the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
